Pensions Cold Calling Ban

Following on from my Scam Smart event last month, I'm delighted to announce the pensions cold calling ban comes into effect today. The ban will help people stay protected and ensure pensioners have dignity and security in retirement, with fines of £500,000 fines for scammers.

Review of 2018

Well 2018 has been a busy year! I was lucky enough to visit members of our outstanding Armed Forces around the world. Visiting HMS Trenchant in the arctic circle was a special highlight. In MK we have had yet another year of success.

Santa's Helpers Waiting Tables

? Focus IT Recruitment in MK transformed themselves into santa's helpers this week to serve 100 Christmas dinners at the Kings Community Church in Wolverton. They enjoyed it that much, they're looking forward to next year!

Multi-million pound investment for MKU Hospital confirmed

A new £10million purpose-built ‘pathway unit’ will be built at Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH) following an announcement by the Department of Health.

Myself and Iain Stewart have supported and lobbied for the funding and are delighted the hospital has received the funding.

RAF 100 Years

A real honour to speak on behalf of the Government in last night's debate celebrating #RAF100 @RoyalAirForce. A quite remarkable organisation with remarkable people that has lead the world in aeronautical innovation since 1918.

Special Guest in MK for UK Parliament Week

Last week the UK marked 100 years since the first women gained the right to vote by celebrating Parliament week. Schools across Milton Keynes took part in activities to find out more about our democracy.
