I'm hosting a series of Community Engagement meetings on Mental Health and Wellness in MK. The first will focus on young people and their challenges.

Dr. Dawn Bailham

Dr. Bailham is a Regional Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 16 years of experience working in the NHS and in forensic mental health inpatient hospitals with adolescents. She is also a cognitive analytical therapist experienced in delivering the therapy to adolescents. In her current role, Dr. Bailham oversee work with children with histories of abuse. She read for a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology and her Doctorate is in Clinical Psychology.

Kat Newman (Development Lead, Milton Keynes Youth Counselling Service (YIS)

MK Youth Counselling Service is an independent charity working with 11-21year olds who live, learn or work in Milton Keynes. The charity delivers a range of counselling services to our young people helping them through issues such as depression, anxiety, recovery from abuse etc. The organisation is ably overseen by a board of trustees.

Hannah Pugliese (NHS Milton Keynes CCG - Children, Young People and Maternity Commissioner)

Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) are clinically-led statutory NHS bodies responsible for the planning and commissioning of health care services for their local area. AHealth and Social Care Integration department has been setup in Milton Keynes and is responsible for overseeing the joined up effort of between local NHS and local authority. It acts as a key forum for leaders in the health and social care sectors and the department is working well to ensure an integrated and co-ordinated approach across NHS, social care and public health services in Milton Keynes.
