Unemployment In MK North Down 3.8% Since 2010

Unemployment in Milton Keynes North has fallen from 8.3% in 2010 to just 4.5% in 2018, according to figures from the Office Of National Statistics.

This is a decrease from 5,400 people unemployed when the Conservatives first got into Government to just 3,000 now.

Unemployment across the country hasn't been this low since 1974 and while lots of people ask me whether this is due to zero hours contracts being included in the figures, just 1.6% of employees are working less than six hours a week.

And the great news continues with wages growing faster than inflation nationally at 3.4% meaning more money in your pockets.
