I'm really pleased Royal Mail is introducing 16 of the UK's first ever parcel postboxes in Milton Keynes North.
The first phase of the launch will see pre-existing meter postboxes, which include a wider aperture and secure design for mailing larger items, converted to accept small and medium sized parcels.
This will make it a lot easier for you to be able to send parcels whenever you like in the same way you would a letter.
They will be safe and convenient for small businesses and marketplace sellers to use.
The locations for the parcel postboxes will be:
Chippenham Drive, Kingston, MK10 0AB
Old Wolverton Road, Old Wolverton, MK12 5NA
Warren Yard, Wolverton Mill, MK12 5NW
Precedent Drive, Rooksley, MK13 8PE
Alston Drive, Bradwell Abbey, MK13 9HA
Tanners Drive, Blakelands, MK14 5BN
Sunrise Parkway, Linford Wood, MK14 6LS
Fox Milne, MK15 0DG
Michigan Drive, Willen MK15 8JH
High Street, Newport Pagnell, MK16 8PY
Howards Way Interchange Park, Newport Pagnell, MK16 9QS
Snowdon Drive, MK6 1BW
Silbury Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes MK9 1LT
Silbury Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 2AH
Silbury Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3AZ
Midsummer Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3HP
Following the initial launch Royal Mail may choose to adapt more locations to the parcel postbox format.
It is the first major change in postbox usage in the Royal Mail's 160 year history so I'm really looking forward to seeing how the changes help you in your day-to-day life.
