Government has announced £370 million of funding to secure the future of the Post Office Network- offering access to a wide range of important services to millions of customers and small businesses up and down the country. Under Labour, more than 7,300 post offices closed across the UK.
Customers and small businesses rely on their local branch every day to access a wide range of services. With this funding we are ensuring that our post offices are fit for the future.
For the first time in decades, the Post Office network is stable and the new funding announced today will mean it can continue to improve services for local people.
