To mark the end of Mental Health Awareness Week, I met with the team at COMPASS in Netherfield.
COMPASS is a substance misuse service supporting both adults and youth in MK.  Their aim is to support those tackling addiction with recovery and treatment services
Talking to Hannah Scragg, Service Manager, she revealed that they have approximately 1000 clients. Despite the pressures they face, the team are providing excellent support.  I also had chance to meet some of the service users, who value the care and compassion given by the team.
It’s reassuring that MK has this service and by no means am I under any illusion that they have their challenges and I have offered my full support.
