Starting with just £50, an exercise bike and 5 members, Gill Robinson, a former Health Promotion Specialist, wanted to develop rehabilitation for patients with heart conditions out in the community and so the MK Community Cardiac Group was born. That was 28 years ago!

Lowest unemployment in over 10 years

Announcement today that unemployment across the UK remains at the lowest rate for over a decade, down nearly 900,000 since 2010.

Latest labour market figures show 329,000 more people are back in work in the South East region since 2010.

Funding for Milton Keynes Road Network

MK Council stands to receive a total of £5.9 million for local highways maintenance in 2017/18.

MK will receive £1,346,000 extra on top of the £4,554,000 that it was to receive in 2017/18 for highway maintenance.
