I can't believe it's been six years since I opened the first MK Job Show. When Iain Stewart MP and I first decided to launch the event at the Buszy, we had no idea what a success it would become and the staggering number of jobs it would provide as a result.
My constituent Janet, called the office last week about an issue causing her some concern. We were able to quite quickly reassure her and put her mind at rest. That was the end of the matter, or so we thought.
So pleased the US Ambassador accepted my invitation to MK. Greeted by Headteacher, Sue Carbert, Ambassador Matthew Barzun spoke to 100 students from Ousedale School. An engaging hour of discussions about US and UK world affairs ensued.
