On Exercise with USS George H.W Bush

With the UK's new aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth due to arrive in her home port of Portsmouth for the first time on the 18th Aug, it was a huge honour to visit this week the USS George H.W. Bush on exercise off the coast of Scotland.

One Stop Shop for Homeless

I am pleased to see the ‘one stop shop’ has become a reality. Rough sleeping is now a pressing issue in MK and we need to work together to address it. I have been actively supporting initiatives across the city and I am determined to continue to play my part.

Funding for MK Road Improvements

Milton Keynes will receive £3.925 million from the Department for Transport to improve the A509 and A422, Willen Road to Olney, it has been confirmed today.

Free Childcare Doubles to 30 Hours

Government are offering eligible families a saving of up to £5,000 a year when the new 30 hours free childcare scheme opens in September.

Parents with a child under five years old can now apply for a 30 hours free childcare place for September 2017.
