Mark took part in a question and answer session at Oakgrove Sixth Form on Friday, answering questions from some of its Politics students.
After a short introduction where Mark informed the students about his role within the government and the constituency, he went on to answer a vast array of questions from the youngsters who covered everything from MPs expenses, Lords reforms and the Conservative Party’s view on Europe.
Mark said; ‘I think the Oakgrove politics students knew far more about our political history and the ins and outs of parliament than I did. They came up with a selection of very well thought out questions which really put me on the spot and I have to say, I had a fantastic time. It is great to engage with students at this level.’
