Hundreds of walkers voted with their feet by declaring the Newport Muster a massive hit on Saturday.
Although Mark Lancaster was unable to take part, after breaking his toe on holiday, he joined in with the celebrations before the walkers set off.
This year’s Must
er included local Mayors Debbie Brock and Ian Carman.
Thousands of pounds were raised for individuals’ favourite charities.
Mr Lancaster said: "It was a pleasure to gather with the walkers once again before this brilliant event. What better way to get fit and appreciate the nature and history of Newport Pagnell? As I have a broken toe I was unable to go on the walks, but look forward to taking part next year."
Walk chairman Steve Williams added: “Considering this was only our second year, the turnout was just amazing.”
